Paradise Island tour

Be Robinson Crusoe for the day! One of the most idyllic spots on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, Paradise Island Cayo Paraiso is close to El Castillo de la Isabela and is the only coral island in the country with a perfect circle-round reef in the middle of the ocean with an inner sand-bank, making this one of the best places for snorkeling in the entire country. Speed-boats whisk you over to this fantastic desert island, where you can enjoy white sand, turquoise clear waters, a beautiful coral-reef, abundant with tropical fish and enjoy a wonderful ocean breeze.

After a couple of hours on the island, the speed boats take you through the lush green mangroves of the national park where you can learn about the wonders of nature. We stop at a waterfront restaurant at the unspoiled beach of a quaint fishing village. Bring swimwear, towels, hi-factor sunblock, some spending money to buy souvenirs, and your camera.

If you are bringing children on this tour, please remember that there is very little shade on Cayo Paraiso and none while out on the speedboats, so with this in mind please make sure they use a hat or cap to help protect their heads from the strong Caribbean sun.
